Not all parks are created equal.
It is a truth I came to truly understand only recently.
And surprisingly enough, I came to understand it in New York.
Because New York, despite its high population density and urban grandeur, has the coolest park in the world.
And no, I am not talking about Central Park (even though that one is pretty cool as well).
I am talking about The High Line.
The High Line: The coolest park in New York
So, The High Line, what is that exactly?
The park’s website describes it like this:
The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th and 12th Avenues.
Sounds intriguing, right?

The view was extraordinary, the cocktails amazing, and the company even better.

All in all, I would say our self-care game was most definitely on point that day.
I challenge you to find me an even cooler park than The High Line! What are your favorites?
